That seems to be the case in Western PA as well. Enjoy By is nowhere near $7 a bottle here, when available.

My problem with the session IPAs, excluding the fact that I don't think they're particularly good, is the pricing. They're frequently priced the same as "real" IPAs, so why not just buy one of those?

I usually can't find a 6 of stone for less than $12.99, so if you get yours at $8.99-$9.99 well that gives me a good reason to move out your way

Big fan of this release strategy. No bombers or select tap-only -- just a simple six-pack. I'm agreeing with most of the other posters, probably looking at the $8-9 range in terms of price, in which case, I'll be buying quite a few.

Looking forward to this. With no access to All Day, Lasso, or Pop Up - it'll be nice to have this as an option.

What's wrong with Stone Levitation Ale?

I feel like session IPAs taste like hop water. That includes Kuhnhenn Fluffer, which is supposedly one of the best. Just not my thing.

Agreed. Stone is way too expensive around here. Would be in my usual rotation, but not when I can get fresh Lagunitas or Smuttynose for $3+ cheaper per six pack.

I'll be down for tying this, but that All Day in cans is my baseline. The Lagunitas take on this had a release in SW Mizzou, but I haven't seen it since. Poor sales perhaps, I liked it...

Seems like some of the Stone prices dropped recently in MN, previous runs of Enjoy by were $9.99 but this run I've seen for $6.99 as well as Vanilla Bean Smoked Porter.

^^This... I can not agree more ...Is it too much to ask for Session IPAs in a can. Which is why I prefer All-Day and 2Bros Sidekick for my summer activities.

I'm sorry, but these "session IPAs" are awful in comparison to a well-made, balanced pale ale of similar ABV. I'm not sure what is to be accomplished by dialing up the hops more in these beers, or why they are even necessary given how many excellent pale ales there are out there. This seems more like a way to get people to buy and binge on more craft beer than an attempt to make a really good beer. Or maybe I'm just spoiled by living a short drive from some truly world-class pale ale.

I'm curious. Some of these drinkable hoppy beers have been good and some have been simultaneously too bland and rough.

Im looking forward to trying this brew, but even if it's really tasty, price will be (and always is) a major determining factor on repeat purchase. Im really hoping for a $7.99-8.99 range!

I agree, but sometimes having some afternoon session IPAs at a lower ABV are nice. But I agree, the price point makes a difference in my purchasing.

Yeah, I really like Levitation. It's tasty and only 4.4 ABV. Maybe this will be a hoppier Levitation, which, I must say, sounds like something I would like a lot.

My thoughts exactly. Though Stone pale ale is $10.99 and IPA is $11.99 for a 6 pack respectively. I can get a 12 pack of All Day for $15.99.

Stone's gonna have to be a bit lower for me to even consider it an option.

Stone: I love your beer, but please learn the difference between "it's" and "its".

That aside, I'd be interested in trying this if it comes out at a price point competitive with offerings from other breweries like Sierra Nevada and Great Lakes. If it's $12 for a six pack, I'm probably going to leave it on the shelf for the next customer.
