Haha you make a good point I am originally from Mass but I am developing the Rhode Island drivers syndrome anything over 10 minutes is a long drive haha.

 

Work closed due to snow and ice. Just finished shoveling some heavy ass snow and now enjoying this. Also had a Jai Alai to quench my thirst while shoveling.

Picked up this Auroch's Horn aged on rhubarb by Olvalde Farm on my stop through Minnesota. And don't worry, there isn't a miniature cat gasping for air in my beer, he's in the background.

I know, it's prosaic, pointless and pitiful to whine about the weather (and, apparently, alliterative), but Chicago winter has already been beyond human endurance and it's only early February!! Morning meetings, cancelled; lunch, cancelled; dinner, cancelled. So, what's a girl to do but brew a up pot of Intelligentsia Black Cat and crack open a Pipeworks Imperial Hyper Dog. This cat and dog are getting along just fine!

I'm declaring Victory over this mornings snowfall, and I finally get to hang at the Ranch with the cool kids. It's a much different animal than Dirtwolf, and very good in its own way. I had to check the abv, as it drank like a session beer. Time to tap the brakes!

De struise Ypres. Oud bruin that has been agee one some wine barrel and on wild turkey barrel. Very nice! Was afraid I would not enjoy this because I dont like the style. But this is really good.

 

what appears to be an enormous gummy bear is actually a night light. it gets scary in the dark.
