I believe they said it'll be spread out over the next 2 weeks. Doubt it'll last longer.

OT question: what are taxi fares like in Santa Rosa? Debating on whether I need to rent a car or not (ie: will I spend 200$ on taxi fares in 3 days).

I see they put beatification back on the tap menu - save some for me!!

No. It will be gone from the source in two weeks. Some bars in the area might tap their keg a week up to a week later. Keg's blow in about one hour from tapping.

If you mean from SF, the buses are very friendly and run just about every hr. A taxi would be close to 100$ i'd imagine. The bus will be about 10-12$. The golden gate buses drop off bout 4-5 blocks from RR and run in most parts of the city.

Thanks for that info - I was thinking more about just bumming around the santa rosa area since I'm flying in direct, but I was thinking about going to SF if time allowed! That info helps

If you're flying in direct to Santa Rosa the tsxi can't be more than 40$

Excellent. Does anyone know if the fedex by RR sells styro shippers? Would be nice to check one as baggage on the return trip home.

Tons of places in SD get it, and you'll know which ones by the lines on the sidewalk. Pizza Port and Toronado are the only places I know where they won't announce a couple of the days they put kegs on, until right when it's put on. Couple years ago Toronado actually put one on Wed morning and didn't advertise it as well. 3 people in the bar total drinking Younger... well, I actually went with Hoppy Birthdays.

Hells no. This FedEx sucks for shipping beer. If you are a white male aged 21-40 with any facial hair and use a box that looks like it had been used more than three times (typical beer shipper) be cautious. Bottle barn is your best bet for styros nearby

Have your cab stop by Bottle Barn on your way from the airport. A 12 bottle shipper will set you back about $11.

I wouldn't go with Fed Ex. Try Brick Station Post on Montgomery Dr. It's a couple miles from RR but they are awesome about shipping beer. They have supplies too, but I would go with what others have said and stop by Bottle Barn on your way into town.

Sorry, misread your post. I thought you wanted to ship beer. Oh, well, if you do, try the Brick Station Post.

Completely agree, but it doesn't surprise me. I figured it was just a matter of time.

When I drove up for the Kate the Great release 3 or 4 years back, folks started getting in line before midnight, and this was during an ice storm (as opposed to generally pleasant temps in Santa Rosa, even with the rain). Of course the Kate release is/was a one day event, but even so... if folks are willing to do that for Kate, then it figured that it would be only a matter of time before folks started doing the same thing for younger.
