Hey guys- thinking about heading in for PTY tappings in a couple weeks. Wondering if there is shops and/or menus that have Cantillon?

    Thanks!

Ha! Well, whatever shops get the Cants won't have them after 15 min.
Mile High is a sure bet to get them (whenever the come in). Probably Small Batch. But I think importer of Cants switched distributors here. Not sure their pattern for these

Seems like Fou and others have been hitting shelves out east over the past month. Is it true that they went from Shelton to Crooked Stave?

And speaking of CS, I'm really hoping Batch 60 is still available in a couple weeks. Kinda sucks to get an email from Blackwells offering it but not a word to reserve members.

Completely agree. Sometimes they will offer those releases to members, but I don't understand paying over 300 for a membership and we cannot even have access to a couple of these bottles.

Call your trustee to get you some. I've bought several cases for trustees asking me for some. Also try calling the tap room (or email them) and pay for them to have your trustee pick them up.

You didn't pay $300 to get every beer they release over the year. You paid $300 for access to 10 cellar reserve beers. And like denverbeerdrinker said, talk to your trustee. Batch 60 is all over the place. It shouldn't be hard to get.

All over the place = Denver area? CS members and trustees are from all over the state. I understand it is not part of the membership, but last year we were offered a lot of these types of releases. Figured between holiday vieille, nightmare, and batch 60 that something would be made available.

But really all I was saying is that as a CS member it is odd for it to be easier to order from California beer lists, and that hopefully it is still around the front range two weeks from now

More than Denver. At the least, the greater Front Range area. I have had no problem finding in up here in Fort Collins. Not sure where you are located, so perhaps this doesn't help you anymore than it being in Denver does.

Back to the op, can someone shed some light on the Pty tappings? Flows like water in SD but I'm not familiar with the way it works here in Denver.

A couple simple searches will reveal who gets it. Follow or like those places on Facebook. Expect tickets at every place. Some are crazier than others. It's a good beer, worth waiting in line for once a year. I'm not telling you my favorite place that will have it.

It has been available at every account from Colorado Springs to Fort Collins.

I thought it was made very clear to members that they were going to start distributing more beer instead of storing pallets of beer for people who only come in a few times a year.

And, yes, the craft beer game is quite odd. I bought all my Le terrior online this year.

That is odd. It's all over in MN and other places or has been for quite a while. Not sure about now. Weird you have to order it in Colorado. That's sucky.

Shelton is the distributor of Cantillon. What does Crooked Stave have to do with anything? Isn't Crooked Stave a brewery and Shelton the distributor of Cantillon? How are the two connected? Shelton is still the distributor of cantillon aren't they?

Colorado is a big state. A lot of people live outside of that 100 mile path

But I understand your point. Lets not start to split hairs

That bottle list was last updated in June. Try Rueben's (also in Boulder).

It was pricing, not availability. Bottles were $18-$20 here.

Are we expecting Fou to hit CO? I've given on up getting my lambic locally.
