I've looked through some threads on this subject and want to see if there is anything I should add to the list....here is what I have gathered from older posts

    For Beer:
    Uncle Billy's BBQ
    Draught House
    Hop fields
    GingerMan
    Black Star coop
    NXNW

And I am adding Craft Pride and Bangers to the list. We are staying in the E 4th and Trinity area - google maps shows Craft Pride and Bangers to be about .5 miles so I assume we can walk there.

Also, I assume this statement is still true:
if you find yourself on 6th street, go West 6th. at least you can find some craft brews at the Brew Exchange, Opal Divine's, or Kung Fu Saloon.

Any good food options in walking distance from where we are staying?

Thanks in advance for your help and input.

For bachelor parties, we offer free lap dances from any of our delivery drivers. Most groups pick whichever employee currently has the longest beard.

If that doesn't float your boat, the other places on your list should provide plenty of entertainment - although I might consider adding Pinthouse Pizza to the list.

Craft Pride and Bangers are both walkable from your location. Also look at going to Chicago House, another good option close to 6th.

I know it's for a bachelor party, so there needs to be plenty of bro stuff and debauchery, but how can you come to Austin and not go to Jester King?

    Spoiler: you can't

    Other beer options
    * All the breweries in Austin, esp as something to do during the day or early in the evening
    * Wright Bros Brew & Brew
    * Easy Tiger
    * Hi Hat if you find yourself on the east side of town
    * Star Bar if you find yourself on W 6th

Trust me, it's on my list of things to do however I don't think we are going to have a car...and I don't know how many of these guys are into good beer. (I only know two or three of the guys going)

Would I be able to find JK at local bottle shops?

To a certain extent, yes. Most of their best stuff is brewery only, though.

Aside from the brewery-only stuff, yes. Whole Foods on Lamar/6th and East 1st Grocery should both be within relative walking distance (~1 mi to WF, ~1.2 to E1G).

Their limited stuff, no (Atrial Rubicite, RU 55, La Vie En Rose). Plenty of their regular offerings should be available on store shelves though.

if you dont car or cab it, the bars you list are not even CLOSE to walking distance to each other. Craft pride and Bangers though are most definitely within a walk.

Example, nxnw and bs coop are 5 miles apart.

    and much further north.

where uncle billys, even being about 2 miles from 6th, is almost walkable.

unless of course you guys run marathons when not drinking beer.

I should have been a little more clear on that....won't have a car to get out to JK, however I plan on cabbing it to some if not all of the bars in the above lists. We will be in town for three days...

    Appreciate the input guys

The location of where we are staying has changed. We are now staying 1 mile north of downtown near the UT campus (West campus)....any places (food/beer/bottle shops) worth checking out?

    Hopfields is right up there.

Draughthouse should always be an option, along with Pinthouse.

    Or...just catch the bus downtown.

If this is a bachelor party, would be well worth hiring a limo service to take you downtown or up to Draughthouse.

I dont think it is ever worth hiring a limo....you would be riding it for 3 miles at a time and not much - just one time each way.

Seems like buses or taxes would be much easier and cheaper.

    Approximately when are you visiting?
If you use a taxi or don't mind a bus, you can get to the same suggestions. Use Capmetro.org to look up buses. The #3 bus will take you to a bunch of places if you're patient. Although sometimes buses are faster than getting a cab in Austin.

•FC bonding can use multiple bump materials (e.g. Lead (Pb)-based solder).

    For Beer:
    Uncle Billy's BBQ
Draught House (take #3 north to 42nd and medical)
    Hop fields (walk up Guad)
    GingerMan (take 1, 801, 3 downtown)
Black Star coop (take 1 or 801 up to the train crossing on Lamar)
NXNW (take #3 to about it's end and walk a bit)
Pinthouse pizza is on #3's route

Wholefoods, Central Market, Sunrise can all be reached similarly.
East 1st requires a different bus, maybe #21.
