Founders in Tennessee

Best News on distribution I've heard in a long time.

 

I've been hearing this rumor but this is the first time I've heard that it may only be in Memphis. Can any one confirm this? If so, I gotta say I'll be a little heartbroken.

 

If it comes to TN, I highly doubt it will be Memphis only.... Nashville only, I would believe.... That's usually the way it works here... Nashville has loads of stuff Memphis or Jackson can't get... My guess would be that if it does make it to Memphis, it will be distributed statewide.... If it makes it to Nashville, it may only make it there and nowhere else...

 

I can confirm the Founders guys were in Memphis today and this is happening in March.

 

I can't vouch for the rest of the state, but it's definitely coming to Memphis. The distribution here has greatly improved in the last two years, so much so that I actually buy beer in Memphis regularly. I used to go to Nashville or other nearby places to load up.

 

I really hope they make it up to the Tri-Cites. Our distribution has improved greatly in recent years. Does anyone know if it will be both high and low gravity offerings?

 

If it makes it to Memphis, then Jackson should definitely see it then... huge awesome news right there... fresh Centennial and Red's Rye??? There goes my beer budget...

 

Should be in Chattanooga, from all the information I've received.

 

Should definitely be available in ______, given my unverified and unlisted sources.

Does anyone have any more than a tweet to go by on this?

 

Founders will 100% be in TN by the end of March or early April, depending on when the shipments arrive at the distributors. You can believe me, as I work for Founders and am the Sales Director opening up the state. We'll have more info about our launch parties, so keep an eye out. The beer lineup for the parties will not disappoint! As far as the beers being brought into TN, we will be bringing in our entire year round, seasonal and specialty brands. TN laws are screwed up, but they won't stop us from sending the best beers possible. Cheers!

Can't tell you how excited I am to hear this news. While there are numerous breweries I'd love to see expand distro to TN, with the addition of Founders alone I may never complain about our selection of craft beer ever again. IMO you guys set the standard for widely distributed craft brews. Guess this means we may also be seeing backstage series bombers here?
