So I just placed an order from trappistworld.com (saw it advertised here on BA) and was wondering if anyone has any experience with them. I haven't heard of them till now but couldn't pass it up when I saw their Cantillion finest 1 pack and the fact it contained fou foune. Expensive I know but my b days coming up and I figured I'd splurge.
    Thanks and cheers! Logan

Can't help here as I don't buy beer online. I prefer not to leave a paper or electronic trail if I'm going to be breaking state law.

$65 for Fou Foune and $160 for 50N4E...

I don't generally buy anything online due to the markup. If ya gotta try it and have money to burn, who cares. I'd say you are better off buying a plane ticket and either attending a reputable event (FWI, GABF,etc) where you will get to try hundreds of amazing things or simply pony up and fly to Belgium.

Yeah I know it's pricy but I've got a bit of extra money right now. And I wish I could just drop everything and fly to Belgium but work makes it very difficult for me. And I can't wait to see the look on my tasting groups face when I suprise them with fou foune! That's what his hobby is all about to me.

Like most sites they want way too much for fou foune.

I wish I bought those Cantillon iris balloons late last night when I had the chance.

I would consider this site if they didn't attempt to sodomize me with the prices of the more special Cantillons.

$160 for 50N4E? And to think I could have had a bottle at the brewery last year for less than $20. Silly me didn't realize just how much of a whale it was and that I could have bragged about having drank it.

These prices are awful. It makes me want to figure out shipping from here and start trading so you guys stop getting corn holed.

Considering the trade value Fou Foune has over here, that's not a bad price at all for those 6 beers. Don't think I'd pay that to actually buy them for drinking purposes though unless I'd never had them all.

Have a feeling this site won't be around to long. Once the monks get wind of the name, and the fact that they are selling Westy. The monks don't look kindly on outsiders using the Trappist name and re selling their beer.

I just ordered several Cantillons and 3F from them last Friday. Saturday they boxed it, and Monday they shipped it and gave me the Belgium shippers tracking, and they will be updating me with the USPS tracking once it hits the states. I even added a glass from them. I'm pretty excited, since I'm throwing a tasting this weekend, and I also have a large shipment of Jack's Abby coming in. Should be a great weekend for beer!

Let me know if you actually decide to start trading. I'm sure I could find somethings you'd want to trade for
