I am trying to get more into sours, but I haven't been able to find that much in CT. Can anyone help me out and recommend some good stuff that is fairly obtainable in CT or Southern Mass? Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys.

I don't these it gets to CT but in MA Cisco has some very nice sour beers, Jolly Pumpkin is my go to, and check out some of the Nightshift brews. Many of these offerings are easily obtainable.

Lost Nation in Morrisville, Vermont is worthy of a trip.

I think I might have to make a trip up to MA and see what I can find there for selection. The beer shop and Table and Vine are usually my go-to's for beer we cant get in CT.

Petrus Aged Pale, Lindermans Cuvee Renee, Tilquin, 3F, Rodenbach and Oud Beersel I can usually find on shelves in Mass if you make the trip. Allagash Coolship series is always good when it hits shelves.

These are the ones I found at Julio's mind you which also had Justin Blaeber sitting on the shelf for a bit, not sure if it is there but they also might have 3F Oude Kriek still and Cisco Monomoy Kriek. I always have a 12oz bottle of Cuvee Rene in my fridge to scratch that gueuze itch.

Tilquin for sure. Lots of belgians in the packy, but not a whole lotta local sour love. I guess GI Lolita is the most common one I see. Also, Allagash confluence and interlude are fairly well available when in season and they are great. I like to go to deciccos. Drie Font, jolly pumpkin, the bruery, etc etc.

Im just getting in to sours as well. First time I tried a Rodenbach, was not sure what to think, but the more I drank it the more I liked it. My local store, Kay's Wine & Spirits in East Hartford has some of the Goose Island Sour ales still on the shelf. I picked up a Justin Blaber today there as well. Not sure what to expect from it but thought id give it a shot..

the only actual sour from CT, as far as I can remember, was Nebco's Weiss Trash which was fantastic.

Beer'd made a saison and a belgian pale with a funky yeast strain. not an actual sour though.

Wow, $6.99 thats a great price. What size bottle? I got the bigger 22oz bottle of it. On a site note, they had some imperial biscotti break as well. Cracked that open last night. That is a Dam good beer...

Not my favorite Berliner by any means. Worldwide wine and spirits in southington has a selection. Til quinn, haansens, boon marriage parfait. Deciccos is a great choice but a little of a haul. Girardin black label is good too. Rodenbach and Petrus Pale are all over and right around $10.

Some of my friends consider 'My Blueberry Nightmare' to be their favorite beer of all time, but it was the first beer that I've ever had to pour down the drain. Proceed with caution. It took a while to get the acetone and spoiled balsamic vinegar flavor out of my mouth. Not to be a downer, but good luck! Like I said, tons of people love it!
