This time I will know to buy more at the market. Got real expensive at the stores...

I was hoping not. IPAs priced like Beligan quads don't fly with me.

Why? They can be just as expensive to brew, if not more depending on the beer.

Seriously? You were hoping a beer that a lot of people love and are willing to pay a bit more for wouldn't be brewed again just because it bothers you? Nice attitude.

Yawn. Lots of other good (if not better) IPAs/hoppy stuff around that are routinely available, accessible & cheaper. I think that the "Lawsons" collab tag ups the hype meter on this beer beyond what is warranted.

as long as they stay fresh and move off shelves, i don't mind paying a premium.

shit, with that in mind, if lunch was the only beer maine beer co. made i wouldn't dis their prices as much. conversely, if they made exactly the same beers but at a lower volume (so zoe actually moved) i'd buy them more often. those beers are shit after a few weeks, but glorious at first.

also, i love otter creek. give me kind ryed, double dose, citra mantra, all day every day. $10 a 6pk, $15 a 6pk, i don't give a shit. just keep it fresh and keep it available.

I just root for beers I like and would actually purchase regularly or ever again. How dare I.

I can't wait. Ever since this colab OC has had some good stuff. Kind Ryed and Citra Mantra are great and cheap

I wasn't that impressed with it. Good beer, but for $16/4 pack IIRC, it's not something I would buy again. The "Lawson's" tag definitely bumped it up a few dollars. I guess I'll take Limbo, Be Hoppy, Hoponius, Mass Rising, etc.

Didn't blow me away for $5 a 12oz bottle. Someone tape their label over a Dirtwolf and I'll be happy.

The pre-demand for this beer defintely had distributors and retailers tacking on the hype tax.

It will be interesting to see what water they use this time. First batch they accidentally drained Sean's own well and they had no water at the house for a couple of days. I wonder if they use a different water source for batch 2 and what, if any flavor effect it my have.

I don't wanna hype it up in my mind to taste exactly the same as it did when I first had it. I've been through a bunch of new beers since then and I know my palate has more than likely changed, but I sure do hope it's as delicious as it was when I bought that first fresh 4 pack. That beer was really fantastic
