    Missed yesterday being away from my computer so i'm cheating and doing two today. Yesterday had a homebrew imperial saison that was given to me nearly a year ago by the awesome BA member jzeilinger. I had taken this to my brother's to enjoy but left it in his fridge and totally forgot about it until last night. I was worried it would be a drainpour but it turned out to be sublime. Thanks again Jeff.



    Today I am working but have a Captain Lawrence Smoked Porter waiting for me when I'm done...thanks Bobby.

    Can't visit Northern VA without a DC Brau infusion. Only wish I could have hit up the brewery on this trip. Next time!

    And yes, this was a deliberate choice after a second US loss to Canada in hockey. CORRUPTION ABOUNDS!

    Has it really? Then I did good. I like the spanish granachas because the slate in the soil and those 70 year old vines make fabulous wine. ( I only buy wine that has been rated by a reputable source unless it's local. so if I have it, it scored between 85-92 on wine spectator or Robert Parker liked it ) I need to get busy planning menus for these. :grinning:

    took off work early for some Ale Asylum Hopalicious, meatballs with red gravy, and USA vs Canada hockey! The first two were great, the outcome of the hockey game, not so much. hopefully the USA hockey team can salvage a bronze tomorrow.

    Indeed Midnight Ryder. It pours as black as my mood after getting another foot of snow last night. Looks like we won't see grass until May......sucks.
