What beer are you drinking now? #489

If this is a bitter bomb, I might have to pass on. Don't get me wrong I like bitterness, but when it's not balanced and abrasive. I just can't get into it.

Finally cracking this baby from beerkangaroo. Never had it fresh but it doesn't seem to have lost much. Smoke is still very evident, robust, and well done. Fucking awesome porter,

 

From last night, but had to post it. This was pretty good, but no Enjoy by.



Enjoying one of these fine Imperial Stouts... as good as I remember!

 

This stuff is so good, dancing on my tongue.

 

A little Hopslam, this is pretty good. Seems like with all the Enjoy By and Sucks it seems my palate has been reset.

 

Another amazing beer received in trade…



Wow. This is enough to lure me back to the IPA side of the chase... I have been stagnant in the BA stouts category for so long.

The bowl of clementines was serendipitous with the flavor profile of this beer….

 

Bell's Amber

 

So it's Friday and I finally get to drink a beer. I bought a four pack of hop juju brewed less then a week ago. I have to admit....it's ok bottled. It doesn't stand out. Now I probably made the mistake of having it on tap first, but I am not as stoked about it out of the bottle. That won't stop me plowing through some and then enjoying some nugget nectar and hop henge. Cheers and happy weekend BA.

 

And to think, they are hesitant to distribute to the "Wet Side" of WA, because they're not sure we'll like their beer. I have friends that run over to that area 3-4 times a year, they grab some for me. IMHO, Idaho's best brewery.

might be my last one tonight I have shit to do tomorrow. Very different @Greywulfken I don't see it as better than Sucks and Dirtwolf but it's pretty damn good. Thanks to all the BAs who bragged this up it really is delightful without you guys I feel I would miss some incredible beers!

Exciting hockey game but disappointing to see the US not make it to the gold medal game. Watching women's biathlon relay right now, good stuff.
