Washington's annual Brewers Open House is tomorrow. Last year during this event was the first time I tasted the Baltic Porter from Chuckanut. Just before they ran out of the beer last summer, the brewer, Bryan, gave me a hand bottled 22. Well, not only is it as good as it was a year ago, it may be better. Excellent!

It's not related to the brewery, and my buddy Steve no longer has the band, but I still like this song. Bonus points for some shots of my home, Brewingham, WA:

 

A rain day in the field today let me catch up on some paperwork and busy work, but I've still got some reading and writing to do tonight so I won't be opening it for at least another hour or so, but I've got my first Hopslam lined up for later tonight.

So I've got that going for me. Which is nice.

 

2 goals this weekend. Clean out garage and re-watch True Detective.

The 20-year old side-by-side I use as a combo beer fridge and meat locker is dead, so a new set is scheduled for delivery next week. Taking the opportunity to clean out the garage this weekend before they arrive. Started this evening.

Drinking my first Flower Power and Hi-Res tonight. Liking the Hi-Res. Plan to give the Flower Power another run tomorrow.
