My dorm room fridge memories (flashbacks) are of Black Label & Milwaukee's Best so I guess things are getting better? slightly?

Whenever someone puts a beer into a glass from a different brewery, I get confused

Episode 5 is so confusing near the end...I love the interaction between the two leads, the tension between them in lawn scene was great!

Someone told me, "You only die once". I think that logic is sound.

Thanks, man. It seems like you're doin' it up right yourself. Enjoy the rest of the night (even the snoring...sometimes that's the best part )- looks like you had a good one!

    Revisit review night:

Awesome BSDA! Huge caramel, raisin, prune, red grape, pear, apple, orange peel, dark candi sugar, honey, toast, brown bread, light chocolate, clove, pepper, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Great malt/yeast balance and so damn smooth.

Excellence! Super fresh 1/17/14 bottle. Wow, did not remember this being as good. Big tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, orange zest/rind, lemon zest, light mango, floral, grass, pine, caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Maltiness is not overdone and this is quite crisp/smooth for 9.5%. Loved it.

2009, 5 years. I had a 2008 2 years ago and this really hits the mark now. Incredible deep malt complexity of caramel/toffee/brown bread/molasses/toast with light-moderate floral/citrus/pine hops. Hops are nearly gone. Wow!!!!!

My inspiration was the sale price on the mix pack. Plus I am a bit of ticker. I can always find Bell's, Founders, and Short's around. Cheers!

I've been saving this for a special occasion, and the start of birthday weekend (Sunday) is a good time. Hell, anytime is a good time to drink this freakin' masterpiece. Deserving of the accolades and I definitely want more this year when it hits again. [IMG]

Figured it's time to start putting a dent in my stock of these. Needed a reason to celebrate, figured I can just celebrate that I got the damn cap off without taking out all of my knuckles... Damn thick wax!!!
I'm not skilled at doing pics of pours, but it does look like I'm filling a glass for the CBS dude on the horse.

Cheers to the dude on the horse!

This is a decent Stout. I liked it better than Hop Juice. Egh, the horror.

When I was in college it was Red Dog and Molson, I feel your pain on that one. On the positive side, at least you're supporting the local brewery. (Work with me. !)

Big Sky Moose Drool. A bit more coffee than I recall. The Moose must of gotten into the beans. Watching the PGA golf reminds me that there is green under all that white stuff. Cheers BA!

Still arguably my favorite L.A. beer. Easy enough to find, always delicious. Always a big fan of Wolf Among Weeds.
