What beer are you drinking now? #490

I have had several that were extremely tasty, but the last one I had was off, although my palate may have been the issue. Experiment to continue in a few hours...

This should be a "Sunday First" post I guess, but I couldn't wait to share (well I did wait, cause I passed out from Green Flash Palate Wrecker on the way, yet..)
Last night I needed cash for a cover charge to hear a band. remembered "Oh yeah, I'm out of beer" and went to the local wine/beer shop where you can get cash back for a debit card purchase. Mainly the event ahead was on my mind as I entered and casually asked the clerk "What's new and exciting?"
Without a word he put a sixer of Jai Alai in my hands. Just arrived, not even chilled yet. I nearly fainted with joy.
I let it chill in my truck during the show (48˚ outside) where I drank Lost Rhino Faceplant and Green Flash then headed home and cracked open a Jai... but barely a few sips in had to call it a night. I'm enjoying it NOW though! Sunny and 70˚ out here and the songbirds don't seem to know it's still winter, either.

If you like your Browns sweet - check out Out.Haus Ales Brown Ale from New Hampshire. 5.2% ABV. Nicely balanced.

 

I might would invite him over to show him how loud it is, of course being a man he might get the wrong idea of a lady inviting him into her bedroom.

Ragnarok! I went to Max's today in hopes of having a Grenade of Fyne Ales Jarl. Well they didn't have on tap anymore. So I went with something I know I will like. Malheur 12! This beer is fantastic!



Since it's RAGNAROK, I will play this!

I think Saranac doesn't get enough respect. They make some solid beers, and this one in particular is quite good and the ABV on most of their offerings is sessionable.
