This quote from the article is fantastic
"Corona Light has 18 IBUs (International Bitterness Units), a lot of the other premium light beers have 8, 9, 10 IBUs," said Sabia. "We believe the consumer's palette is beginning to change and it's getting more sophisticated. They want more flavor and taste."

Heard Corona Light is virtually gluten-free. They should run with that.

Was just in Vegas last month, Corona Light on draft is huge there right now, billboards all over and virtually every hotel bar and restaurant there is advertising Corona Light now on draft. So it must be relatively new but it's all over now.

You know, I didn't realize how bad Corona was until I poured it into a glass. I can imagine that there will be a lot more cats like me once they try it on tap. I also don't think there is any way that they will avoid cannibalization with this beer.

I'm done with the hating now.

I know it's sacrilege on these boards...but on a hot Summer's day, I do enjoy the occasional Corona.

    So, sue me!

Generally the only time I drink Mexican beer is when I visit my favorite local Mexican Restaurant (which is far too often if measured by my waist and the fact they ask me if I want "the regular"). They currently have Dos Equis dark and Pacifico on tap but push "buckets" of Corona during certain periods like sporting events. It will be interesting to see what happens if/when Corona makes a draft debut. I know the guy who owns the place so I can get an honest answer.
