Excited about today's post! My little sister is a set costumer out in Hollywood. She dresses lead actors and responsible for continuity from scene to scene. Found out yesterday that she got the job on the 2nd season of Showtime's Master of Sex, starring Michael Sheen, the actor who played the Lucian, the main Lycan in Underworld. She's very excited. What really cool is that named our boy, Ryu Lucian, after the Lycan character so I opened another Wulver to celebrate her new gig. (Incidentally, she also worked with Kate Beckinsale before, but before we had the boy).

    Cheers to you, sis!

    Good morning BA's!

Really enjoying the newest "Revival beer" in the Folly variety packs.

It's slightly sweeter than a typical pale ale with a citric and sweet, fruity hop and lightly honey, bready malt character.

I'm happy to have a few bottles of this!

Not just a badass video, but an amazing album as a whole as well:

Can't believe I haven't had this in so long. Guess it's easy to forget about great beers when you get caught up in hard to get limited stuff.

I had my first Jack's Abbey beer this weekend up in VT on tap at the Pig (Mass Rising), and thought it was excellent. On the way out, I picked up a bottle of Hoponious Union, and am enjoying it right now.

Reviewed it before getting into the sushi to make sure I had a clean palate. Now that I'm having both at the same time...holy crap, what a great pair! I don't often go out of my way to pair food and beer, but this is an extraordinarily good combo!

    Cheers!

Welcome to the cult! It also pairs nicely with Thai food, and I suspect spicy Mex as well (to be confirmed).

Taking the afternoon off. My wife and I are going to The Portsmouth Brewery for lunch.
Thought I'd take a beer from the cellar before heading over. This fits the bill nicely.

Glass courtesy of the very fine gentlemen with Revolution Brewing while working the Cincy Winter Beerfest a few weekends back

And as you can see, I can always count on super fresh treats in my non-beer-drinking -sister's fridge stocked just for me when I come to visit, but can't complain, haha

Hahahaha...is that a stolen glass from Monk's Cafe, which has a paragraph on the menu about not stealing glasses? I'm just going to pretend that the left is Budweiser and the right is Coors with darkening dye added.

I doubt it's a stolen glass, Belmont Station has a fairly large supply of those glasses that they use as their go-to for stuff not served in tulips or other specialty glasses.
