I do. However, since they told me on Wednesday afternoon that it wouldn't be until Friday, I didn't think I needed to be checking tweets on Thursday while busy at work.

Grabbed two bottles from HEB Bunker Hill yesterday. They were $4.50 a piece. Would love to have bought a 4-pack but I understand the need to get it in as many hands as possible with such a seemingly limited release.

Maybe KBS will actually be in 4-packs this time.

 

This beer is good. But it also tastes a lot like Peche Mortel, which is way easier to get.

Yeah.

Sure, they're both different beers, but theyre both creamy sweet stouts with smooth noon bitter coffee taste.

So do we have to separate these release threads by city as well? Is that another rule to reduce clutter? Because if so, it sounds like another brilliant winner.

 

I honestly like the idea. It's a lot easier to go through a thread discussing a release in your city, rather than sifting through a bunch of other posts about other cities. That said, I also think it's good to be able to talk to people in cities other than your own. So in that regard I'd prefer a general thread for each release.

 

I know there's probably differing opinions on this, but I'd rather click on a specific thread on releases (that takes me to the last post I've read conveniently)...and read onward. Instead now I click on the SW forum, and have to sift through a shit ton of threads...hoping I find the one that pertains to my city.

Depending on your city and who starts a thread in regards to said release. This is supposed to be helping noobs, if I remember correctly. Anyway...not that my bitching will help the situation. And not that I'm bitching at you.

 

Beer guy at my local HEB text me earlier to say he was holding me a 4 pack of BCBCS. Going to pick it up on lunch break tomorrow. Never tried a Bourbon County beer so I'm looking forward to trying one soon. Also I'm a big fan of coffee stouts.
