Peruvian Morning infected again?...

    I was going to buy Peruvian morning today and the employee was pulling them off the shelf. He said that they were recalled. Anyone else heard of this? It's a huge bummer because I loved this beer and wanted to buy it again. Not trying to spread rumors, just wanted to see if anyone else heard this?

    Probably wasn't an employee but a customer buying all the stock out from under you.
    In all seriousness, haven't heard anything about "infected" PM this year.

    I still have CWPM and the CWBW from last year ( bought when released last year) that I will drink a couple of bottles a month, well in early Jan I popped a BW and it was infected and did a PM a day later and it also was infected. I had not heard of the BW ever being infected but it was definitely off. I thought I had heard that they weren't doing PM this year. I won't buy either of these beers ever again. The barrel aged barley wine until this point was a fave of mine.

    Absolutely delicious!

    I wonder what coffee they use. I know it gives a name on the bottle, but some of the morning coffee blends have a citrus and tangy flavor to them which I like.

    This infection issue has been going on for a couple of years now for the PM. Mine were drinking fine for all of 2013, but now I have some bad stuff sitting on my shelves. Central Waters used to be a favorite of mine but I now consider them a waste of time and money.
