This is why EventBrite is the service to use for stuff like this. Smooth, quick, good layout, and auto fills your info if you're logged into your account. CCB has used them for all the El Catador Club and Huna Day stuff (as did Crooked Stave, iirc; and I think the DLD page said it was run by them, although on the DLD site). Great job. Way better than last year.

BTW, I'll be there Friday after work (5ish); I'll be the bald dude with the wife and 3 little kiddos wearing the Bell's hoodie!

Hope to see you guys there!

Good grief. I was feeling bad getting my wife one until I remembered that she personally consumed over half our allotment last year...she's really a terrible mule. Thirsty mules are the worst.

It's been said, but well done Eventbrite. this was possibly the smoothest ticket release I've done.

Props to Founders for picking a good hosting site for this release

    Cheers

I concur that this was really smooth. Well done to eventbrite & Founders. But unless I'm mistaken, the following item from their FAQ was not correct in execution. I did not see a box for "attendee name" on the purchase page. It's fine by me but was just curious how this would work. The odds of one person purchasing more than 1 ticket are practically nil anyway

Can I use the same credit card to purchase tickets for different people?

That is entirely up to you! The policy is "one ticket per person", not one ticket per credit card. Multiple tickets purchased with the same credit card is permitted, as long as those tickets are being purchase for different people, by assigning different "Attendee Names" to each ticket at the time of purchase.

you had to enter your first and last names, those then transferred to the ticket

I'm a local going in for the Tuesday pickup after I get out of work. I believe you pick them up at the retail store on the north side of the brewery.

Ok, I had thought those name boxes were attached to the credit card billing info. Thanks.

Yeap. People using Brown Paper Tickets or that shoddy ticket system for Winter Beer Fest, take note (I realize the stadium makes them use that -- but it seems like MBG would hold all the leverage on that). Eventbrite is awesome, and actually is built to handle this kind of demand.

Had a few laptops going. One timed out for my Saturday ticket on the eventbrite page but another one was fine for Tuesday. Glad I got something.

So much easier this year. I think I didn't know for sure I had a ticket last year until like 4 hours after the sale started. I'm in for Friday..road trip after work.

Not so smooth on my end. Was on right away and wasted an hour of my life refreshing and never got a ticket...
