Hunahpu- what time to get there?

They said you can't drink any beer until 11, and suggest not showing up too early as to annoy people working the event. I don't think you'll miss much if you just show up on time.

I'm gonna head down at like 10:30. I think that's reasonable.

 

My plan is to be in the "area" no later than 10am, find parking and hang out in the car until 10:30 or so then walk down to CCB

 

40 lines, less people than last year, I think the days of camping out and bugging the Home Depot entrance are long gone.

 

I plan to stroll up right about 11 AM. I was debating whether to come at noon and avoid the initial craziness but after consultation we are just going to jump in whatever is the shortest line as soon as we get there and cruise afterwards!

 

Fiance is dropping me and a friend off.... at 11. Picking us up at 5. No worry about parking, no worry about getting in line early. No worry about driving after. That's how we old folks roll.

Don't see the point of getting there too early. Will have breakfast with my friends then head over there around 10:45. Hopefully find a little corner in the shaded area to hang out for the day.

 

I'm going to stumble in line about 6:45 AM. Hopefully avoid getting run over by a cop car as i share kegs of natty in line. Then go in the gates around 10, proceed to buy my 2 bottle limit of Poonahuh, then cut every line possible to get my beers. At around 4 i'll line up to buy my 6 bottle case, then wander down the street and cross dale mabry to head back to the HoJo where i shall share any remaining natty by the pool before heading back to Mons for more cheap beer and strippers.

I think it's safe to say that CCB is very serious with the 'no beer before 11 am' rule. I'm sure there will still be some blow-hards who insist on arriving at 8 am in hopes of an epic impromptu bottle share, and from everything I've read and heard, they willl be asked to leave if any beer is consumed prior 11 am.

I'll be arriving around 11 am with my posse as well, something tells me there may be a bit of a traffic backlog around 11 am coming in off Dale Mabry

 

10:30 maybe? I fail to see any point in getting there earlier than 10 this year. No bottle sharing before 11, no chance you will get shut out, no real benefits to being the first one in... id rather eat breakfast and the go over.

Unless rayUF07 is bringing db natty... The 6 am for sure. I'm not getting shut out on Tequila and hot sauce barrel aged natty again even if I have to be seen with a Gator fan!
