Firestone Walker - Sucaba 2014 Release

I believe it was E1G who said the distributors already had it in their warehouses...

 

This was before TX approved it. Heard it about 2 weeks ago.

 

Why would Texas have to re-approve it? It was approved for sale last year.

 

I wondered the same thing but it was listed as approved on 2/21.

 

IANAL but It looks to me like the TTB COLA [federal approval] changed, and that triggers a required re-up on Texas approval as well.

The old TTB numbers were: 11314001000170, 12096001000462
The new TTB numbers are: 13311001000177, 13316001000110

 

According to my twitter feed... March 24th is the release date. Still hitting Texas...

Twitter query generated a March 24th release date for Texas, and I'm assuming this is when distributors will release to retailers.

 

and I'm also assuming this "list" is for retailers to get their orders in.

 

Glad that rumor was wrong. I love this beer.

 

This is crazy, Parabola is getting released 3/9. We get stuff too late.

 

On a Sunday? That would be a first.

Given the distributors we have in Houston, more likely May 10th for us.

Bought some last month while in Phoenix. So weird walking into a shop and asking if they have Sucaba and being told, "Yeah, how many do you want?"

 

Yeah this is what I love about Boise. Every FSW reserve I could buy by the case any time of the year. Still had cases of last years Parabola and Sucaba at Christmas.

 

Id take Abyss over anything by FSW.
