Seems like you're behind the market then.
I would like to see: Sierra Nevada, Rogue, Oskar Blues, Green Flash, Brooklyn.

I think the Sierra Nevada Nooner is a session IPA.

I personally will try any session IPA, and I'm looking forward to trying this one. I was super skeptical about the style at first, but after having All Day IPA, my worries were put to rest. Sometimes you just want a hoppy beer that you can squeeze into your busy day without kicking your ass, and I'm a fan of that.

For any of you who can't "understand" session IPAs, just read this (above).

There are times, believe it or not, when some of us desire a good beer with a hop-forward presence but don't want high ABV. It's really not that complicated.

Yeah, but then those people tell you to just drink a pale ale then.

I love love love this new trend of session ipas. I am always looking for an affordable option to drink thats low abv but still full of flavor. I usually go with craft lagers, but sometimes I just need some hops. Only thing I would change is offer them all in 12pk cans like All Day ipa.

I'm just curious to see how this stacks up against Pale 31

Not all pale ales are hop forward, and many pale ales are higher abv than these session IPAs. And...don't tell me what to do!

The session IPA should be bitter and hoppy enough to where a pale ale drinker would complain it's too much. That's my general opinion on it, it should be an IPA that IPA drinkers can drink almost a an entire 6 pack throughout the day or at night.

The best session beer I've had is Carton Brewing outta NJ, their Boat beer is just outstanding, 5.2%, and a great hop forward session beer, blows away daytime, all day, etc...and they started canning it last year, need my friends in NJ to ship me more!

If you're in North Jersey chances are slim due to the distro here. The stores I go to just got (non-expired) Firestone for the first time in around 6 months.

It's great. Unfortunately, it's usually about $12 a four pack.

I just had this yesterday at the Feral One party. It's a solid beer for what it's going for, but I would prefer Stone Go To if I had a choice between the two.
