I know there is countless discussion on here about everything concerning pricing and bottle format.

What breweries only distribute either cans or bottles smaller than bombers (but I am including any size cans because those are usually sold in packs, except for giants like Mission)? The only one that I can think of is Oskar Blues but I could be wrong there. However, they don't really release any special beers outside their seasonals (which in my area aren't really seasonal because I see them on shelves throughout the year).

If there are others outside of Oskar Blues, do they also release big, sought after beers (at least limited) in their regular release format?

Basically, I am wondering if any brewery bucks the large format glass bottles for special releases?

I have never seen a bomber from Great Lakes, Fat Heads, or Brew Kettle.

Great lakes used too. And if I'm not mistaken fat heads just bought a bomber bottling line. Sixpoint is another one

I've never seen any. I shall look closer, although it seems shocking as I am so close..

Oh, yeah they can be quite elusive. We don't get Founders here yet though.

They did a barrel aged Bigfoot bomber last year, and I know I just saw another type- something hemisphere?? can't remember the name. Also I've onyl seen Trappistes Rochefort in small 11.2 oz bottles. Same with Orval. Different cuase many Belgians do the big ones.

Do you have anything positive to add to this thread? Telling people to stop drinking beer is a poor joke, or a poor attempt at trolling also. Please provide some "correct" information, so that us uninformed people can be enlightened.

    thank you

Unless you count the bombers you can brew yourself at Brew Kettle, so it's not like they can't do their own branded stuff. I get stuff every year from friends brewing out of Brew Kettle.

If it makes you feel any better I have yet to see any of the Backstage series on the shelf in the wild. I've seen and had all of Founders stuff minus the Backstage series:slight_frown:...and no I don't trade, thrill of the hunt.

They do. Their Northern and Southern Hemisphere Harvest Wet Hop ales are both available in larger format bottles.

Constructive response. A+ effort. Now go log off the internet.
