Except that Brock said on Facebook that he is wrong, and this had nothing to do with a distributor issue.

I just wanted clarification, since SA has said all along that the BB series is meant as a reward for local bars/restaurants that have supported them for a long time. Sending them to CO stores seems to make this claim inaccurate.

I like accurate information, and what's being said here and what's being said on the Fb page are not the same thing.

And since when is Aaron...Brock. Aaron is trying to answer questions here the best he can. Anyway, I have never heard that BB was "only" for local accounts. NOLA has gotten a few, and they just recently started in CO. With the Gman, SA, Falling Rock connection it is not surprising that Denver gets a handful of cases. There have been instances where some retail shops in Houston have gotten some, and it stands to reason that the same thing can happen in CO. Maybe SA should manage who gets what a little closer, but this is far from a malicious FU to people in Texas.

Huzzah for local tine shops that still end up getting a case and sell over the counter

My appolgies, not a distributor issue. I made an assumption considering this is what we do in state. I'm going to go back on vacation now and drink a beer.

So what was that bar in Houston that was complaining about not getting any? What do you bet that they go through a lot more kegs of Saint Arnolds than ANY of the places in Colorado.

    Just saying...

My guess is because Saint Arnold just started distributing in Colorado, so they used BB as a way to bait new customers.

Was at friendly spot Saturday and asked how much it was and they said 16. Wha da fuu. I think I remember them getting a lotta crap from people and then them blaming it on being told that BB was selling for that much elsewhere. I bought a different beer but don't plan on going back. That place is way too expensive.
