Haven't seen the WBAYDN 506 thread, so creating it with this humble, everyman, offering from across the pond. First time trying this, it's an easy drinking ale that I'm actually fancying quite a bit....

It is 65f or 18c here in western Germany. Been doing yard work and I am now getting the grill cleaned for smoked pork chops for supper. Good as time as any for a beer.

After a weekend full of beer I decided to take it easy and go with something low ABV.

Really happy I picked up this one. Very impressive flavor profile for only 2.7% ABV!

Don't know why, but something about the can for the Bikini Beer made me think of this song:

    Cheers BA's!

First from Evil Twin... it was nice, but my new glassware was the true star of of the show.

Well now that doesn't look much like a stout
Doesn't taste to much like it to me either

Was supposed to head to Monk's today for their Russian river madness with PtY and many other rr brews but back was so locked up I couldn't really move. Pretty bummed so drowning my sorrows by tapping into my cellar rares (personal rares since most I had to trade for since we don't get in Nj). Opening the day on a bomb...

I have fond memories of drinking this throughout Ireland on a trip about 10 years ago. Maybe it was the atmosphere of the Irish pub, it just being a different beer over there or my less sophisticate palate, but I ordered it often there and really enjoyed it!

It's all good. Things happen for a reason. Bummed I couldn't go but gonna drink some delicious brews throughout the day and play some video games with my girls. Back hasn't locked down like this in at least 6 months. Standing in line in the cold only to go into a cramped area just to have a few beers (albeit very limited beer bucket list type brews) didn't really have the appeal it did a few days ago. Plus none of buddies were able to go so would have been going solo

Nice looking Strat! Is it American? And I feel you on the palate reset -- I need to pick up some PBR or something after my weekend of palate blasting.
