For those of you dry hopping in a keg...

    I've done my last 3 kegs with pellet hops and commando, i use a ss hop screen over the end of the dip tube. I'd say the longest a keg went was 6-7 weeks without any off-flavors.

    I've had more issues from removing them early, than leaving them in too long. I keep mine suspended, so after the keg is a little over half gone... the hops are no longer in the beer (cut up water bottle in a muslin bag with marbles, hung with dental floss).

    I dryhopped a pale ale w/ an ounce each of cascade and summit pellets this weekend. I watched the bag sink as I closed the lid.

    Thanks for the feedback, all. Seems I won't have an issue with just leaving them in the keg.
