Just watched a bit of this. Love it. Love him and his vision. I point to some of his quotes when people say that "all breweries want to make as much money as possible." So not the case with this dude.

Great watch, John is a funny mofo haha. Q: "Do you ever get tired of brewing the same beer every day?", A: "Do you ever get tired of having sex?".. awesome stuff.

He reminded me of Vinnie Cilurzo in that aspect. Big enough to have a comfortable life, and not be highly in debt. RR is around 13000 bbl. year, he said Alchemist is around 9000 bbl. a year.

Breweries that get big, sometimes have to get even bigger to generate more income to pay the loans.

Kimmich said many things that were contrary to what many on this forum think.

Listen to the entire thing. No regrets.

This is deep insight into the mind of arguably the best brewer in the world.

I don't mean to make consecutive posts, but for those who watched it, am I crazy this is the best thing I've seen in craft in a while?

I geeked out over this and couldn't turn it off despite having to go to sleep at 4AM. I just kept listening.

Here are a fewI watched it when it was first posted so here are a few that come to mind.

"He should make more." Loved the response.
He thinks there is a "bubble", due to material supply.
He uses no hops in the boil. Some of the bittering comes form hop extract in the kettle. The number one beer on Ba uses hop extract!
The malt is TF Pearl. Most in the homebrew forum can't recommend any British malt other than Maris Otter.
He talks of how making beer depends on process, technique, equipment, attention to detail, not just recipe.

    Those are some I remember.

Thanks to DrinkSlurm for the original post. Thanks to jmich24 for the shout-out to the show. And thanks to everyone for watching this episode featuring John Kimmich. It was a pleasure to hear him speak and a learning experience to say the least judging homebrew with him the next AM. Glad so many people are getting good vibes and information from John here. Cheers! Chip/Chop&Brew

This is what it's all about. Saw it the other day and went all the way through it. Even though we'll never see HT in Ga, I respect the vision he has for his business. A+

That was awesome. Dude is super cool and a mad scientist all in one.

He's probably so tired of people asking him if gets sick of making the same beer he came up with the best response. A funny and reasonable one at that.
