If anyone is curious, Batch 1 is still drinking really nice. The smoke is much more subtle. A really enjoyable beer.

I did the same thing with the original 50+ page thread on Huna Day. Was insanely jealous until the actual event happened and we all know where that went. But that's not what this thread is about. So, how about that SS or taproom or whatever the hell else Pipeworks has in the pipeline (no pun intended)??

I'm bringing an abduction coffee break to a bottle share tonight. Excited to be sharing that one.

For me, the murderous was the best of the three, but they are all excellent.

No clue. I would say check the usual suspects (WLV, Vas Foremost on Milwaukee, Before You Go, beer temple, if you're coming into the city) I got mine during the FWB release (and had some at fobab) so i haven't been hunting these too hard. I'm sure some others can chime in on sightings though...

    March 15, 2014 Update

Release of all this good stuff begins on 3/17
    NEW! Budapest Gambit
Our opening move for this spring season is this bright, easy drinking (maybe a little too easy…), refreshing, Imperial Wit brewed with hibiscus and freshly juiced ginger. The lemony hibiscus and spicy ginger play really well with the Belgian yeast character. Thanks to the hibiscus, this drink is certainly pretty in pink. The old idiom, "March comes in like a lion, and out like a Budapest Gambit Imperial Wit with Ginger and Hibiscus" is certainly proved correct by this brew. We are very happy with how this turned out, and hope you are too. $8.99, 22 oz, 8% ABV

    Coffee Break Abduction
THE SHOCKING TRUTH ABOUT COFFEE BREAK ABDUCTION!!
Since the late 1950's there have been trillions of claims of aliens taking humans onto flying saucers to probe them for information on where to get a delicious, velvety imperial stout. This intent of this blurb is not to promote fear of the aliens, but rather to inform you, the friends, that this most recent batch of our Coffee Break Abduction is coffee forward, chocolatey as all get out, with decadent vanilla notes, and that aliens want it bad. Please do not panic. The best way to combat the aliens is to pour yourself Coffee Break Abduction before they do. The truth is out there, on shelves, as of 3/17.
    $10.99, 22 oz, 10.5% ABV

    Pipeworks Ninja vs Unicorn
The most recent report from the battle field is that this batch of our double IPA packed with over 5 pounds of hops per barrel is tasting as good as ever. Loaded with tons of Citra, Falconers Flight, and Zythos hops, we aim to please even the most discriminating hop head. As always, we recommend drinking this beaut early and often.
    $9.99, 22oz, 8.5% ABV

All beers will be released on 3/17.

    On the Brewing Horizon:

    Derketo - Belgian IPA
NEW! Pipeworks Down Unda - Imperial IPA with Australian and New Zealand hops
NEW! Mint Truffle Abduction - Imperial Stout with Mint

Mint Truffle Abduction sounds awesome. Dark Horse did a mint stout (mentha piperita) which I thought was awesome.
