Not sure why, as it is available year round.
I know that JGB played that day. No Terrapin, though...

I myself loved the Saint of Circumstance that BBC released when they couldn't get the right hops for the Lost Sailor. Not only was Saint paired with Lost Sailor during live shows (listen to the last pairing they did on 3/24/86 with Bobby swearing), but the line "If this ain't the real thing, it's close enough to pretend" from SoS was extremely apt and witty for a beer that wasn't exactly Lost Sailor.

I had every intention of getting to Lower Depths for an IPA before Sunshine Daydream last night, but the Sox were at Fenway and the bars were packed, so I'll have to have my IPA Day beer tonight on the way home.

I was at that Phish show in Virginia Beach, full of Sammy Smith Oatie Stout. It marked the third anniversary of Jerry's passing. Brings a tear to my eye every time I hear it. It rained like crazy that afternoon, only to have an amazing double rainbow appear over the venue. Thanks Jerry, happy birthday!

    Enjoy!

Rivertowne Brewery in Pittsburgh makes a Wit called Grateful White. The cans are psychedelic and undoubtedly a tip of the cap to the dead

A couple from the Cleveland area:
Indigo Imp Candy Man (pretty bad beer though)
Fat Heads Shakedown Stout (not bottled unfortunately)
Fat Heads Sunshine Daydream (bottles come out next month!)
Fat Heads Jack Straw Kolsch (not bottled, not from Wichita)

Jackie-Os Funky South Paw prominently features a stealie-type logo on the bottle, even though it only has 12 points..

Reading this, I was thinking, Morning Dew would be a great beer name. Did quick search, seems like these Magnolia guys have a bit of GD thing going on, but i have personally never had their brews...

That's 8 days after I came sliding out of a tunnel into this world....would have rather been at that concert listening to the Dead with a good IPA though
