    So I keep passing up on that Hitachino Nest Beer. I see it for $14 a bottle and as much as I love "ginger" and love it in beers, is this worthy of buying? Yeah, some beers can be more expensive than others in Juneau, so I'm just wondering if this is worth it? Thanx. Adam

    I saw you had a review on it in the database?(you gave it a good review) Anyways I was surprised how good it was yes, but no matter what you do the Hitachino beers will be expensive because of the beer tax over there is horrendous. I don't know how much I paid off hand for the bomber, but the 330 ml bottles are always 5-6 bucks a shot so it was probably in that area. I'd say its worthy every once in a while though, but my beer budget is about as unrestricted as you'll see from anyone.

    holy moley did I just have a bout of heartburn! that's what I get for crushing beers like it's my job for the past week and topping them off with Mexican food tonight, ugh.

    so of course I decided to have another beer. and what a beer! liquid decadence. one of the creamiest, smoothest, richest imperial coffee oatmeal stouts I've had to date. This crushes Breakfast Stout & Wake N' Bake IMO. loads of character considering this isn't BA. amazing beer (it better be at $10/12 oz.)
