I'd just like to say that I think Kuhnhenns handled the entire weekend stellar. Friday night with Reggie was the shit and some solid taps. Sunday release was super smooth, maybe one or two added taps would've been better. Today's beers in the tents were awesome and just a nice spread of food all around.

I rarely say this, but well planned out and done by Kuhnhenns.

Now bring out BBBW in bottles already

So...What's on tap in the tent today?

    All the breakfast beers.
PB Krunch and Cocoa Stout is solid - so was lucky charms.

The Blueberry Pancake ale looked very sketchy. She poured a thick purple syrup into the glass and it started to rise and overflow everywhere.

So what did everyone think of the Breakfast beers?

I like that they didnt have a bottle release yesterday - it helped not make it a complete clusterfuck of people looking for BBFT combined with the people looking to just get ham'ed for Paddys day. I thought the bottle release on Sunday was pretty smooth too. Someone let Liquidtable know, I tried to message him but he apparently blocked me for being sad I troll Kuhnhenn too often.

Anyway - Cocoa Puffs was awesome. The PB Crunch was good but wasn't what they hyped it to be.

I did have Lucky Charms - that was tasty. Didnt try Apple Jacks unfortunately since I had to get to work and didnt want to show up buzzed.

I think they got plenty of good press on FB, but are still in denial that more than 1 person may have successfully gotten extras of the released 6-packs.
Fair enough. They were busy. Staff was a hair frazzled (due to the early start).
May not have noticed those who got back in line later on. Hard to miss a couple of them though.

The table in front of the regular entrance where the tent was went through the line twice. I saw them look at the line, see it died down and give each other looks before hoping back in line.
I had never seen them before - one guy had a Masters hat on.
    Meh.

I know all of them. Kuhnhenns employees said it was OK for them to go back through. Not bad people at all.

I mean at that point, no one else was in line.
I don't see why you can't get to the back of the line at that point.
Snooze you lose, it was already 1p.

It's one thing to be in the front of the line, get filled and immediately get to the back of the line vs. waiting until all waves were taken care of and then going back for more. I don't fault them.

Know all of them? I guess you were one to get back in line for seconds too. Right?
Not bad people? Not good people. Definitely not my kind of people.
If there wasn't a limited amount I'd be fine with it. But they had a rule.
And while I'm sure someone from Kuhnhenn said it was ok, another person from Kuhnhenn is denying such things happened on FB.
Ruck the fules, I guess. Gotta get my tradez!!!

Some of this I can agree with, I guess (just TRYING to be somewhat agreeable).
I think I am just disappointed with some of these geeks today. No shame.

And to folks who got seconds... instead of spending your extra dimes on beers (that you skirted the rules to obtain)... invest some money in your rides. And maybe drink less beers. Damn.

I can't tell if this is a new account for you based on being banned prior but It sounds like you're pretty new here. Did you even go to this release? If you did, I highly doubt you'd have any problem with anything that went on. Anyone who wanted their allotment got it - it required you to show up by roughly 1p. We're talking about probably six people out of 160. If you think that is an atrocity, I suggest you don't go to other beer releases because I can guarantee you it will be a lot more chaotic and far more shady things going on.

.....as for investing in rides. I have no idea how that is relevant. Most people when they grow up stop trying to impress people they don't know with material possessions. I'm sure their cars suit them just fine.

I did not get back in line. I wasn't at that table. I did not see a problem with what they did. The people running the check out for bottles were also pouring/serving so they had other people to attend to. They wanted the bottle sale done so they didn't have to worry about it for the rest of the day.

They got back in line when there was maybe 15 people left getting their first allotment and they were told it was cool for them to do so. Where is the problem with this?

This release went incredibly well and everyone who wanted some and could get there got some. I don't think anyone but you is upset with how things went down.

New account. Kid a area bottle shop recommended it to me.
So far not sure why I did as my opinions clearly don't line up with the masses. Call it age, or whatever, but there are no such things as rules for people. Brewers do their best to be fair and people (even if it is one or two) crap on them for their own interests/tradez. I went to this release. I tend to go to most Kuhnhenn parties and releases as I am a fan of their work and friendly with regular patrons. Never said anything about atrocity. Lets not get dramatic.
I just figure that those who did grab seconds are the types of geeks to frequent places like BA (based on what I have been told).

And who are you impressing when you buy extras of beer? Oh you rebels. Trying to impress trading partners I guess. Beer is a material possession last time I checked and people collect and trade them like baseball cards.
    Don't get it twisted.
Craft beer and cellars are the new whips.

Not upset as I didn't get shut out. Again, DISAPPOINTED.
It would be nice if places like Kuhnhenn didn't attract the same types of folks that attend Hunahpu or DLD.
    Gotta get those trades!
Know how many times I hear about people buying meads to trade? Friggin ridiculous. Have you ever drank one of Frank's meads?
I just hate where the scene has gone, man.

To be honest I agree with your last sentence. I miss the days of solstice not being about the bottles and not having to line up for every damn bottle release. Those days are long gone though. It sucks but what are ya gonna do. The few ruin it for the many. Though that may be the other way around now.
