Sounds like we have some serious inconsistency going on, and that's unfortunate. Saw some pics my buddy took over the weekend and his glass seriously looked like he drank a poorly blended fruit smoothie, completely coated with puree chunks. Will be picking up mine next week and hoping for the best.

This seems like a slightly unfortunate development. I haven't opened up any of my bottles yet, but my question is: Do the bottles with some extra heft to them still taste good/right?

Some fruit left over in a beer that was aged on fruit, to me does not seem unfortunate. I think its a plus, and a way to know your not about to have a beer made with fake liquid extracts. I could be in the minority. Sounds like this beer is tasting great still.

I was mostly talking about some people indicating that the bottom inch to two of their bottle wasn't beer, but puree. That seems a little excessive.

the pics I saw from this weekend were more than just 'some fruit left over'. It looked like apricot baby food residue all over the glass. I can make no comment regarding how it tasted, but that's a little excessive on the solids.

does anyone have one of the previous year single growler bags they'd like to trade for this years dual growler bag?

My question is, why isn't there a growler included in the bag? When signing up the reserve society this year I came with the impression that it came with a bag. (Includes a growler/Bag)

I got that impression too. I went back and looked at the welcome booklet and it says "A Reserve Society Growler/Bottle Cooler" so after the fact I think it is clear that there is no growler, just a cooler that can hold a growler or bottles.

No big deal, I already have a Bruery growler and only use it occasionally for Berazzled or Humulus Lager. I do think the tasting glass was pretty weak though. A regular brewery tulip with a RS/HS logo would have been a lot better.

The Regular RS tasting glass looks awful, the font is the wrong size and overlaps with the logo. The hoarders glass looks pretty boss.

And that's exactly what we got. A cooler meant to hold bottles or a growler. There's no and in the middle there signifying that it's two different items.

Yeah I think people are a little too nit-picky some times. Growler glass is like $10, if you really, really need one more they are easily attainable. I think the bag and the tasting glass are exceptional and a nice change of pace from the sweatshirts.

That said, I still bought a hoodie and it is probably my new favorite jacket. Really solid construction and proper cuts. All in all super comfortable. My only gripe would be 'Hoarder' has a negative connotation so I would have preferred a big HS on the back instead but all in I am very happy.

You could always put a bag over your head every time you wear it in public...

I guess I just like a little more room in my glass, kinda how they serve their 5oz pours in the tasting room, I can swirl and shit.

i'm talking about the Fullerton one. but in full disclosure i haven't lived in Fullerton since 1990. it's just my favorite taco place. and i always go there when i'm in town. i think there are better taco places, arguably, but it's my favorite.

    sorry for the off topic

(btw IMHO La Habra actually has better tacos than Fullerton)

I haven't had anything described as slime yet, but bring on the pulp. Kevin's Fuzzy Peaches was one of the most pulp filled sours I've ever had, but in a great way!
