As kind of half joke/half wanting a beer, I grabbed a can of Steel Reserve at the gas station about an hour ago. Drinking it now and while it is far from good, it's not the worst thing I've had. I could see myself choosing this over a Heineken.

What others beers belong on the Best Worst list?

Bud Light doesn't taste bad, it just doesn't taste like much at all. Being nothing is better than being bad.

I probably wouldn't buy any beers like these^^, but maybe something crummy from Samuel Adams. I don't really like their beer.

I don't think they make worst beer...heck their imperial stout is pretty darn good and boston lager saves the day at some places

Like the wedding I was at this past weekend. Open bar (wine and beer) and the beer list was SABL or BMC products. I destroyed some Boston Lager that night...

Genny Cream Ale! I grab a tallboy once in a while just to reset my palate from being stripped by hops!

Once in a while I'll have a miller high life, or a coors, ( not coors light), both are good with pizza

True, but everything else from them I've had has been pretty bland and forgettable.

IMO they do seem to through too much out there to the point I get scared to even try most of their beer, but I've never questioned quality enough to wonder what kind of rice or corn variation I was tasting

How am I supposed to have them, and what can you recommend from that brewery that is really good?

Beer Lover's Rating Guide by Bob Klein, 1995
Steel Reserve 211 High Gravity Lager 2.5/5
"Juicy Fruit gum (or ripe peach) aroma and taste on first and succeeding sips; sweet ripeness rises to the back of the mouth; high alcoholic content (8.1%/volume), yet it doesn't taste particularly alcoholic; grainy malted barley taste is intense; sturdy body; has many ale qualities, like flavor intensity and sweeter/fruitier character; this is a maverick beer that may take some time getting used to."

It seems as though he enjoyed it. I've always loved this guide because Klein really stuck to his scale. If he rated it a 2.5/5, he really thought that half of the beers he drank in his life were worse, and I've agreed with him on this one. Steel Reserve can be a great go to gas station beer.
