This is been on the shelf at my local store for about a week and I'm excited to see it back. I love this beer! I haven't picked any up, but the weekend isn't here yet!

Yeah you would not want to drink anything that's too easy to get.

I only drink bona-fide unicorn's tears ... Dry hopped with Simcoe of course.

It is too sweet and imbalanced. Just off. One of the few lagu brews I don't care for (with Hairy Eyeball and Capuccino Stout). What I am wondering is where the f*** is WTF? That one has not been on the shelves for a long while.

Just had this yesterday and it is very good and was very enjoyable.Trouble was I had just enjoyed 2 bottles of Dirtwolf. It is not as good as Dirtwolf (for me ) but not that far off as far in taste. Then again I am insane as a lot of other people about Dirtwolf. But shutdown ale is great stuff and you can get yourself in all kinds of trouble after the second one.

LOL. You had two dirtwolfs and THEN tried this? And you think the taste between the two is "not that far off"?!

Sounds like your mind will be blown the next time you try it if it's your first. My palate is less-refined, as in Joe Dirt territory, but those two brews are markedly different in many ways. Who cares though, right? Great brews.

It's a good brew. A friend who just started trying craft drank one and loved it just as much as all of us who have been drinking craft for a bit.

Way too malty/boozy for me, but I admit that I am in the minority.

I get excited over all Lagunitas limited releases except probably "Daytime" but for the Price & Quality there is nothing better

I had it this past weekend and found it to be intensely bitter. Weird. Time to revisit.

Having a couple dirt wolf, some lagunitas sucks, and 2 bottles of enjoy by left is keeping me from pulling trigger on this stuff. I'm sure I'll be kicking myself when its finally MIA from shelves

anybody have any experience aging this stuff? I've got some at home, but haven't tried it yet. The comment above comparing Undercover to Double Bastard has me thinking about stashing a couple in the cellar.

What is the difference between Undercover and Hairy Eyeball? I'll readily admit not having either, but trying to decide which to buy if I come across both next time I hit the packie. Both seem to be pretty similar based on descriptions here and on the Lagunitas website.

I've taken it out to 18 months. It was pretty good but fresh to 6 months is where I prefer it so I can still enjoy the hops.

Still have a couple in the fridge now; I've been pouring a bit of Jai Alai (~20%) in mine to cut the booziness. That's been a pretty good calculus.

I was excited until I tasted it. It's my least favorite Lagunita's beer.

Brown Shugga is in my top 3 favorite beers.
