My personal favorite Sam Adams beers, from what I've had so far, are in no particular order: Noble Pils, Latitude 48 IPA, Old Fezziwig Ale, Dunkelweizen, Double (not Triple!) Bock, Revolutionary Rye, and the Cream Stout.

My vote goes to Youngling also. Way better than any BMC. About the same price also.

Geez... Iron City. Even as a kid we laughed at this one, but it's as drinkable a any BMC product.

Before I saw the DFH show on TV I literally only drank Lone Star and OE in the Can, I liked it, cant lie. I still could drink it if I knew I couldn't afford better. Hell my Profile Pic is 2200 lbs of PBR for our "White Trash Party." We served only PBR and Franzia Boxed wine still had a great time.

In high school we strictly drank 40s of Bud Ice. And I'm not gonna lie, I still enjoy one.

avery 15 and oskar blues gubna were 2 of the few beers to have me wondering if they were kidding.

gubna, though i graded it higher, is probably worse, since it's soooooo well made in some respects, but the flavor resulting from using just summit hops is wildly misguided. i was actually laughing through most of the glass.

avery 15 had a more lasting humor for me, because it tastes like harp lager with brettanomyces (and p.s. the brett tastes like dirt). still think back to that beer and shake my head sometimes.

i've had far worse beers than those two (e.g. ommegang aphrodite and river horse tripel horse), but those are the most amusing to me.

    ---

edit: if "best worst" list means poorly made / low flavor beers that i nonetheless like the best... hard to say. guinness? guinness kind of makes my stomach turn these days (something about the nitro and oily flavor...). uhhh... corona with lime isn't so bad on a hot day, though i'd rather a quality wheat beer or hoppy pale ale.

Idiot's Drool, but not for the reason you think: there was definitely something to it that drew me in at first, a mix of the sour/funk and the residual sweetness of the barleywine notes, but there were so many other unrecognizable flavors that I'm not sure what they were going for (other than experimentation for the sake of getting rid of infected beer.)

As far as those go, I'd have to say PBR (nostalgia from my early college days) or Lone Star.
