I'm primarily a mixed sixer guy myself. I've only bought 3 cases in the last year--Nosferatu, Mad Elf, and Old Rasputin. Just curious how others make most of their beer purchases.

Mostly mixed sixers. Around my area though it takes a while for the stores to change the selection. I have been known (and caught!) grabbing something out of a regular six pack that I really wanted.

None of the places I frequent have "mix sixers", so I generally buy a 4/6 pack. rarely ever buy bombers. Just recently bought a 12 pack though (box of belgians by Ithaca).

I can never make up my mind and love new stuff so I typically buy singles, so mix a six, and bombers if that is all that is available. However, I, like many honestly hate the bomber format. I understand the reasoning but would much rather prefer a 12 oz bottle, or better yet, can!

    Usually a few 4 or 6 packs a week.

The guys at the store know my preferences and I'll try some of their recommendations. But for the most part I stick to the same 3 beers when buying from the store.

I buy a lot of cases, because it just seems to be the easiest thing to do here in PA.

I home-brew, so I usually have plenty of the last 3 or so batches i've brewed. I usually buy a mix-six for the variety but I will also ocassionally buy a 4/6 of one of my favorites. I will buy a bomber now and again, like tonight when I bought my first Yeti.

I agree with all the mix-six support. This is my most common purchase. I can usually find some bottles originally priced at $3-5 a piece included in the mix six selection so to me it is the best value and I can take home more variety, which is always good.

I normally purchase a straight sixer, a mixed sixer, and a a trip to the local blackfoot river brewery once a week. I like having the option to buy individual bottles when trying something new. Hate having to drink 5 more brews that I don't want consume.

Mix of bombers and six packs usually. My closest bottle shop doesn't do mix 6

Only time i buy mix six is all night caps - other than that / bombers - all the best brews come in bomber size - don't look at me it's the brewers fault - I love local brews but they only package in big bottle form - word is that golden road wi be making small cans soon - I'll buy those - but for now the bruery, Noble , and el segundo brewing are all in bomber form

I started with mixed sixers and bombers and now I have to admit I would prefer a 4 or a six of one beer.

Definitely- there are even some times when I regret not getting a case of something, but there are just too many choices lately and many of them have to be consumed NOW!!!

My most recent purchases are a 12 of Dales, a 12 of Summit Saga, 6 of Two Hearted, case of NG Moon Man, 2 6ers of Ale Asylum Bedlam and a 6 of Lucette Ride Again APA...so as you can see I buy what I know I want to drink. I have no urge to try every beer that is out there when I am convinced I have already found the best.

I live so close to Founders and it used to be only $7 for a class 1 fill so I mainly get growlers(mug club, now its $8). I must look like an idiot sometimes trying to juggle 4-5 of them walking out of their but hey its cheap!

I normally by mixers. I enjoy trying different beers. Then I will occasionally by a six of something I really liked. I used to buy a lot of bombers but those are for the most part too expensive.
