DLD tics at brewpub?

I'd expect them to have bourbon vanilla again since that's always clamored after. But I do wonder if they'll release a straight bourbon version again this year.. honest question here though, aside from last year, when was the last time they didn't release a straight bourbon version? That includes the year they did Pappy.

What would really be interesting is a red wine-barrel aged version. Not Port, but something more like Cabernet or Merlot or some similar varietal. They've already done Moscatel and Port after all. And for some reason, I feel that a single malt whiskey-barrel (similar to Nooner b3) could be very interesting in a base beer like DL. Anyone know if they've ever done rum barrel DL? Don't think they have but I haven't been following FFF for more than 2 years so idk.

 

For tickets? I thought they usually do it on sundays

Who is there waiting in the parking lot right now? If they don't announce anything by 10, I say break in and raid the place for tickets.

 

They would have announced by now. I'm pretty positive there are no tickets this week. I'm still hoping for a Friday morning release so out of towners can't camp around the brew pub like homeless people.

 

A few weeks ago a buddy of mine said he was told by a FFF employee that they wanted to focus more on ticket sales to locals. I didn't put much weight in that comment at the time but there might be something to it. This leads me to speculate the ip sales will be with shorter notice to discourage people driving from hours away and/or more weekday ip sales. Anyone else hear anything like that?

Indy is local enough. An Indiana brewery and a short drive....local for me.

 

I highly doubt the first round of ip sales would be on a weekday. Last year the first ip sale had hundreds of people. Cars parked around all the way around the entire business park. People running down the middle of the street from their car to the line. They are not going to piss off their neighbors and have it any other time than early on a weekend. Everyone showed up to the first ip sale. Barely anyone to the next 2.

 

Plus we gain an hour

 

So brewpub sales will be GA only I'm hearing, bummer.
