KBS in NC

I'm on the lookout out around fayettenam. No such luck yet, alot of places are receiving inventory today, hopefully its in those.

 

Yeah you're not getting it in the 'nam.

 

Haven't heard of anyone getting it yet in Charlotte. I heard one shop say next week.

 

Yeah, my Asheville store says April 7th but Atlanta already has it for sale

Ill second that. Tryon is at least not unleashing until Monday at the earliest.

 

Damn that's harsh. Flippin distribution politics.

 

probably more to do with the market. Not a ton of craft being sold down there. I know Triangle staples like OH and Green Man dont really even get down there.

 

Tryon says the trucks leaving Founders left too late to get KBS distributed to make the APR 1 date. All LBS in the Triad have said next MON or TUES before release.


Also worth noting that ATL has Black Note too but NC isn't receiving any this year.

 

Hahahahaha. Every other distributor got it in time, yet only Tryon is perpetually late with these kinds of releases.

 

Is this official confirmed that NC will not be getting Black Note? I thought we were in their distribution for this one.

 

Again, coming from Tryon, but he's said we aren't getting it (at least that's what he's told the two shops I talked to).

 

All these stores are in violation. It was suppose to be everywhere on April 1st, just like last year. i would contact Founders about this.

Violation of the "I want it, I gotta have it yesterday" rule. It's on page 4 of The Beer Release and Proper Delivery Timing manual. Product moves about the US in a myriad network of needs, availability, and in trucks on highways. It is a very imprecise science at best.

Folks asking about KBS in North Carolina--it should hit within the next week. Was split into two shipments but will release all at once.

 

Haha. That was me asking Founders as to why Tryon was constantly late on their NC Founders releases. Glad they at least acknowledged it.
