Another year, another unnecessarily difficult Parabola release in San Diego. I love FW, but I wish they’d realize they need to send us more than 4 bottles for the entire county…

Jimbo's is very expensive for most special releases. The place next to the Bevmo in Mira Mesa was out by noon when I went in.

A few Bevmo in San Jose got them. Even at one bottle limit they're already sold out. I haven't seen them at Whole Foods yet. Other liquors shops are selling also.

that's good that they imposed such limits otherwise that a-hole would have got away with something that wasn't deserved. On another note, you guys bring up a good thought (I'm thinking math wise atm) you mentioned you were there at 2pm? the other poster stated he was there a bit earlier? hrrm i was told i purchased 2nd to last bottle when i arrived around close to 3. I asked if there were any lines & was informed no then asked about the bottle limit & they too had 1 per person (bevmo)

oddly enough la jolla location mentioned they had plenty. Odd

I received a back in stock notification at 4am from the BevMo store in Santa Barbara on March 20th. I ordered (6) bottles online for $15.99 each, and I picked them up after I got off work. There was never any mention about how many bottles you were allowed to purchase.

I doubt that, mirror ^2 i got for 15.99. the most i've paid thus far was 25$ for the beachwood buffalo stout

how is this possible? perhaps you got it elsewhere in rancho? Not only that, the math doesn't compute as sales tax is the same as san diego 8% (some not all places in san diego) doubt bevmo or total wine must have been local store. I have an idea which one though this person supposedly sells above msrp

Still some at BevMo Rancho Santa Margarita. I got my 2 on Tuesday, there were still some yesterday so i got 2 more. Dont need any more but if you really want some its kind of a drive up there. You can stop by Cismontane. You drive right past it on the way. Also stop by Amazing Grapes for some good brews.

It's all blended in the end. I'm surprised if they actually DID get Pappy barrels, that they didn't hold them back for a single barrel style release.

yeah, just like all the beer Advocates do.

Advocates don't grab more than need to trade to other Advocates on the other side of the country leaving less for the locals.

i'd say 4 would suffice, but that's just me, I'm not one to set rules. It just sucks for others though when one person tries purchasing more than necessary, In the end it's always supply & demand i suppose (sucks ass most of the time)
