Bell's Black Note 2014?

    Every time I've had Black Note it was pretty boozy.....just my personal opinion. Tasted good, but was hot.

    I can respect that. ...it was more that they are BA beers released about the same time by 3 huge breweries.

    Just so you know I was recently on a KBS hunt when I stumbled into a beer store in Northern Michigan. (No I won't tell you more than that.) The guy had one 4 pack of KBS left but asked if I would like to buy this new beer he just got. When he pulled out a 4-pack of Black Note I almost fell over. I asked to buy the case but he would only sell me one four pack. I sent a friend in about 2 hours later and he got me their last 4 pack. One day haul - 4 KBS and 8 Black note. All in all a good day.

    How funny. In a Parabola thread, when I found it at my local BevMo, I bought only 2, and immediately went on BA to let others know where I found it, whereas you wanted to buy up as much of a special release that you could, corral up your mule friend to buy more, and then NOT mention where you found it... Different strokes, I guess...

    I would like to confirm that Black Note 2014 is now available in the Grand Rapids, MI area. I just bought some this evening. The release is a little more pricey than the KBS release. It's $29.99 for a four-pack or I saw singles for $9.

    If youre in the Forrest Hills section of Queens, Station House has bottles of BN on sale. Theyre not really for sale "to go" but as a return customer the bartender let me go with one.

    Some showed in NC a couple of years ago--the proverbial fart in the wind. Found it to have a bit more body than KBS--loved it.

    FWIW Black Note cases cost retailers over $10 more per case than KBS does, in Indiana at least.
