Bell's Black Note bottles and Distro?

    I had KBS twice on draft and 1 out of a '13 bottle (recently) and all 3 times I was underwhelmed. BCBS blew me away the first time and still is awesome. I can get that pretty easily. Black Note though blew me away and edged out BCBS as my favorite non-flavored BA stout.

    Just saw it on Beermenus at Eastern District in Brooklyn. 1 bottle per customer limit. My first time ever!

    At this point BCBS is just about everywhere. Any decent store will have severa 4-packs available, although they might be more expensive than they were in December.

    Looks like NYC stores are getting in Black Note on a rolling basis. It's at Good Beer now.

    Hopefully it comes to other stores. Good beer posted that an hour ago so I assume it's just about gone by now. Not even trying to rush over there.

    WF Columbus Circle got a case, I lucked out and got there when they opened it (about 3:30). Walked away with a 4-pack. Already sold out, unsurprisingly.

    $27/4, if a reference point matters.

    I was able to get a bottle from Good Beer. I called Top Hops just for the hell of it and they said next week.

    Top Hops has it already - they got it in yesterday. They're holding off on selling it until next week. Will announce details on Twitter/Facebook - I spoke to them yesterday.

    Also, WF Union Square and CC - sold out.
    WF Chelsea - not sure if they're getting any in.

    Agreed...I don't even attempt to get most of the highly sought after beers in stores anymore. Just too hard for someone with an office job who can't go hunting during the day on week days and doesn't want to run all around Brooklyn/Manhattan.

    Seconded. Although the hunt is sometimes fun it gets tiresome after a while. Easier (and possibly cheaper) to trade for the beers

    FYi, just talked to the guy stocking the beer at WF in Midtown East (57th Street). He said they came in this morning and were all gone by mid morning. :astonished:
