Catching up from yesterday a little:

Pulled the shoulder from the breakfast stout marinade and made a 1 gallon yeast starter yesterday morning.

And took another sample of my Galaxy IPA... I just love how clear and clean it is!

And the pulled pork with breakfast stout BBQ sauce turned out amazing! I have so many leftovers, haha.

And now on to my Breakfast stout clone with a Sumatran / Guatemalan blend that was roasted by a friend on thursday... can't get much fresher than that!

    The grain medley.

Mash Water, hit my target of 155°.

Mash! Love the assortment of colors going on here.

Loving that "head" on the mash.

And now on to my first beer of the day, bottled 11/7/13, the cherries are really coming through now... even sweeter and more carbonated than I remember, happy to have a few more bottles left

    Cheers BA!

I had plans for a super-productive work at home day today. I have been compromised.

My first today was trying a OddSide Ales Chocolate Koffee Stout. Meh.
Now having the tried and true Dark Horse Plead the 5th. Yea!

    Now playing--maybe they're square but I don't care...Carpenters-The Singles 1969-1973.

Better make sure I have the proper nutrition on board before I tackle my yard work…

    Ahhh… that's better.

    Morning (barely)!
Been drinking later at night than usual, so I'm off to a late start these past coupla days - lol

Last night finished my second Stone Enjoy By while screwing around in Skyrim and later, re-watching the Sopranos.
Enjoy By is truly a favorite, and in my current top 10 beers.

    Currently, Another One

An IPA with great character and craftsmanship. Little bit of chew, crisp and aromatic. 7.0 abv. Love it.

Ready for Game of Thrones today with two bottles of Fire and Blood, depicting
(and please correct me if I'm wrong...)

Rhaegal and Drogon (left and right). I didn't get the version with Viserion on the label
    (...right? :astonished:)

    Anyways...

    Cheers!

Yay to gardening! About a month away for us in Ohio, I've got to rip out my dead plants from last year, and brew another batch of beer / convert my keezer by months end... so May it probably will be for me! I just used some rosemary I planted from 2 seasons ago and then dried, fantastic! Also, I need to try this sam smith!

    Cheers!

In an era of world-class witbiers there is no excuse for peddling this mediocre stuff. I suppose on a hot, sunny day this might be a thirst-quencher, but it falls well short of the many readily available beers in the style.
