Everyone should start seeing them around OC / LA / SB pretty quick ... Just started with distro up around these areas.

Went a visited the brewery this past Thursday and thought it was pretty rad. Lots of beers for core offerings, and everything I tried was good. The Peanut Butter Milk Stout is insanely good! Excited to see how they fare up around this area.

Anyone else visit the brewery or had anything of theirs?

The milk stouts (both the regular and peanut butter versions) are two of my session (or "I don't to get buzzed") beers. I found the PB stout in a San Diego Costco last week, and since I was burning my annual reward I stocked up.

I've not been to their brewery, but I have visited their North Park tasting room a few times.

They make really solid beers. I visited on a beer bus trip and tried about 10 offerings, but I lost my notes so no reviews (sigh). Looking forward to trying these bottles.

Saw that PB Stout on a distro blast, and plan on picking it up when I see it.

The PB stout is great. Had it a year back on Nitro at Urge... Still no milk stout had compared to the creaminess and flavor. Naughty sauce is close however

I'm gonna go against the grain here and say that the first beer I tried from them was their Double IPA, and it was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too malty. Below average, in a market of IPAs/DIPAs like SD. That was fairly early on from when they moved down into North Park (and I had it on tap at PB Taproom). I did make one late night visit to the brewery and tried a dry stout which was solid.

I haven't been captivated by any of the hoppy beers, but admittedly I have not tried any of their most recent efforts.

I had their Whiskey Barrel Aged Stout. I liked it. Lots of chocolate notes. It's not Parabola, BA speedway level but is comparable to Mission's and Coronado's offerings.

A year ago I would've been inclined to agree but I'd take another stab at their hoppy catalogue, Dam Double IPA has been revamped, Hop Highway and Rabid Beaver Rye IPA are both fantastic IMHO.
    Cheers!

I picked up 4 bottles yesterday:

    Hop Highway IPA
    Dammed!
    Beaver's Milk
    Peanut Butter Milk Stout

Are these the only 4 bottles that are being distributed right now?

It's hard to imagine a brewery name that someone would actually name their brewery that is worse than that name.

I find it odd how people are sleeping on these guys because their brewery name is kinda stupid. I've had some barrel aged stuff on tap at the NP location that was simply wonderful.

Keep sleeping on them, and I'll keep going to the NP location to drink.
