Awesome! I am so glad I was able to convince that guy to win me some beer.

I will also put out a mini bif, I just need to think of a good one! I have been slacking reading this page as I have been busy all week, but I will post something later tonight give or take til tomorrow.

 

Now that I offered my mini BIF which is a bitch to track, I have thought of several easier ones that I'm not doing cause I can't afford it but maybe to give some other people ideas here you all go:
Last team to shut out another or get shut out
Last team to score or give up double digits
Maybe last team to score or give up some other succession of numbers you enjoy...

Hope this helps those looking to put something out there. If anyone thinks of something they want to put out, I will do my best to keep track of it for ya on the spreadsheet assuming it's not terribly complex.

Some more possible mini-BIFs:
First team to pitch a no hitter
First pitcher to pitch a complete game (does this even happen any more)
first team with a grand slam walk off home run
First team to be shut out 10 times

the options are limitless. Come on guys, pick something and go with it. Mini-BIFs are fun and keeps it all interesting. Plus, that way I might be able to win something...

 

I have too many boxes going out in teh near future, but I have an idea for a mini-LIF in teh future. It will be my MLB Misfits LIF, first team to score 1, 3, and 8 in order, doesn't have to be consecutive, will get a box, for the cleverly written "We are 138." I'll advise once this starts, probably mid-May.

 

no team thus far has even scored all 3 numbers... you can start this retroactive to the beginning of the season and probably be good all year. On a side note, if you're shipping a box to someone out of the kindness of your heart and that someone happens to complain about the timeliness of your shipment we have bigger problems.

 

Sticking with 13, first team to win/lose 13 in a row could be another good one.

 

I am going with as a mini BIF - the first team to have a player hit for the cycle. It happens at least twice a year. So if that player is on your team you win. Starting with Today's games.
