    I'm a bit pissed right now. I didn't think I liked Belgian IPA's....I was wrong. This is one well made beer!
    Looks like my beer budget just got all blowed up.

    I think captain lawrence is one the most unsung brewers in new york. They have a gra DIPA a beatuiful smoked porter a few beers no one can find like golden delicious and they do a kolsch called captains reserve. I like 'em. Try their DIPA . It's darn good. That is all =)

    Same bottle shop I mentioned earlier. Found this from The Bruery and I was so jammed up by seeing it I forgot to check the bottled on date ( beginner status showing much?) In my defense I haven't ever seen any of their offerings around here prior to this (mebbe I just haven't paid attention with all the great brews around). Anyway exceptional despite the fact it's not the freshest (9 Mo). Can't wait to try it fresh, somewhere between a saison and and a pale ale with a good chunk of tasty thrown in.

    Perhaps not the proper glass for this though, the head exceeded all expectations and needed a goodly while to simmer before I could finish my pour. Okay enough about beer let's get our steampunk on!
