Trying this one for the second time. It's very good.
The alcohol burn (10.9%) is there but it leaves a nice citrusy fruit taste.

One of my favorites, Dallas Green. Such an amazing song writer and musician.

Drinking my last DC Brau The Corruption IPA, one of my new favorites. Once again, big thanks to @skinsfan for the awesome DC Brau box.

That Tribe documentary is one of my favorites, saw it in theaters when it first came out. I'd have to say I'm partial to Low End Theory, this is one of my favorites from that album:

Unibroue Don de Dieu. It's hard to decide what I enjoy more about Unibroue's beers, the artwork or what's inside the bottle lol. While I do love their labels, I gotta give the win to the sweet nectar inside.

    Finishers:

Spot on delicious amber ale. Lagunitas just continues to show me that they make a line of affordable offerings that always deliver. There are countless 6 packs I would buy on a regular basis. When Chicago opens I am totally going there to visit.

Fresh Centennial. My go-to beer for years.

A very nice and overlooked American tripel. Thirsty Dog is very consistent with styles in my experience.

I had a 90 Schilling over the weekend, and I gotta say I was impressed. Tasty scotch ale

So I guess I'm glad it made it to Texas too

I see you understand the connection of the 80's me generation and the egocentric styles of the popular music of the times. As for Huey Lewis and the News, they definitely describe a passion for the coke-fueled early 80's with the vocals surrounding I Wanna New Drug, a blatant cry for something better than cocaine. And Hip To Be Square displays a flagrant refuting of the societal norms that surround who is popular and why. Sabrina, dance around a little. But their penultimate expression of the times was voiced in Power of Love, where they exclaim "you only need a credit card to ride this train". Indeed, many people did use their credit cards to ride a train into the abyss. Again, a solid performance all around. Bravo, Mr. Lewis. Bravo.

Avery Maharajah, fairly dank this year, following it up with a Roughtail Polar Night Stout & watching DVRed Justified.
My son's Baseball team won tonight & I finally found out the VA finally paid my damn PT bill after 3 months of going round& round with them & the provider. So at least that monkey is off my back & I don't sweat spending my next 6 months beer budget on that:grinning:

Finishing off with another Unibroue beer, their Maudite. Very good night cap and a very good spring time type of brew. Has that caramelness that I enjoy during the colder months, but also that citrus type snap that I look for during the warmer ones.

I love this beer. I think Great Lakes is a severely underrated and/or overlooked brewery. They do a lot of styles really well.

Yep, sweetness, not much acidity. Go pick up some juice & that's 90% of flavor profile for the fruit IMO...
