    Apologies once again- Friday night drinking appears to have bled into Saturday morning drinking...
    Friday night started off innocently enough, having a SN pale ale with my burger while waiting for my eldest to finish his drum lesson.
    Then, out of the blue, I happened to get texts from 2 awesome BAs who ended up coming round for 'a quick drink'... Five hours later, I'm picking up the pieces:

    Giving Alaskan Oatmeal Stout a go. Pretty good! I didn't WOW me.. the head disappeared pretty quickly (which kinda sucks because I love a good tall head on a beer) but all in all it's just a standard pretty tasty stout. I'm actually looking forward to uncapping another one of these later.

    Had this Fri night / Sat morning but the site was down. Saw some reviews and I was afraid it would be too smokey but it was barely noticeable (I really don't like smoked beers). Definitely be trying to get more when it comes out again.
