    Finishing off the 50/50 Eclipse from last night. Still poured a solid head (not that you can tell from this picture, which I snapped a bit late). Pretty tasty, even from the refrigerator (last night was straight from the cellar).

    Another amazing day, although a bit overcast. Too bad I'll be spending it indoors doing laundry. At least I've got the Masters and beer to keep me entertained.

    This is an incredible beer. I've typically been lukewarm on wine barrel-aged beers (generally prefer bourbon barrels), but they nailed it in this case. A wonderful barleywine with the oaky dryness from the barrel giving you a high-five on the way down.

    And by the way, Deschutes can wax the fuck out of a bottle top.:angry::confused:
