I'd be in for 1 token = 3 3oz samples of high abv or 4 4oz samples of regular stuff, or 1 pint as is currently posted.

    Just a suggestion...

I'll be devils advocate and say would you rather get the large pours and wait in line 0-5 minutes, or would you rather get samplers and have to wait 10-15 minutes for the beer.

While the later might not be bad from an endurance perspective, but I'm guessing that just don't want a clusterfuck at the pour stations.

Agreed. As much as I'd like smaller/sample pours, in a party of this size it may not be feasible.

I see the pros and cons to both ideas. I personally don't mind the wait, but I totally understand why others would like to get a full pour and then mingle about elsewhere away from the pour stations.

I'm good either way, and in either case this will in all likelihood be a phenomenal event. Thanks to Short's and all of their employees for organizing it. I'm happy to drive 7 hours to this over 3 hours to DLD. Shorts has been and will be one of my top 3 favorite breweries, and I'm happy to help celebrate their anniversary with them.

Their calling for 5-7,000 attendees and if you've never been to Bellaire, it's a pretty small town. Also, our pub isn't too gigantic either.

I'm assuming you all will have at least 3 friends that will be there, right? Here's a suggestion-

Get a 16 or 10oz of something you all want, then pour an equal amount into each others cups. Your 16/10 oz pour just went down to a 4/2.5oz. Repeat, repeat, repeat....

You'll also be able to socialize more - a good thing!

It's not perfect, but hey-what in life is? (excluding Kate Upton's cleavage).

SO STOP BITCHING BECAUSE THIS WILL BE THE BEST PARTY OF YOUR LIVES!!!!!

    5-7K?

    Good lord.

Any idea how many were there last year? That number seems high. And scary.

That's a number I heard floating around. There are a lot of die-hard Ween fans out there that may make the journey from many far off areas. There certainly may be less than that, especially if the weather is lousy. We'll see...

If it does, it will be after 8-9pm when all the BA's are too lambasted to care.

    Interesting.
Oh well, I'm going to have a hell of a time and only have to walk a block to pass-out.
    Winning.

I planned on doing what hopheadherman said from the start. Should be a great event. Looking forward to meeting some fellow BAs and drinking some great beer. This party comes after my last big semester of grad school so to say the least I may be swaying back to the shuttle

His wife will probably have to carry him. She isn't as much of a light weight.

Hah.. If history tells me anything, I'll be carrying her.
Soft Parade at two weddings has done her in. I just need to cross-off Imperial Soft Parade from all the menu's and we're safe.

To anyone going from around GR I'd looove to get my hands on a sixer of Stache Bender. I'd be willing to pay you for it and throw in 3 zombie dusts (bottled 4-9) for your trouble. Was unable to make the trek up due to my sister's wedding that weekend... bittersweet I guess. BM me if you're down. Cheers! And to all going, have some Bourbon woodmaster for me!

Any ideas on token prices yet? I haven't listened to the latest podcast. I know they were going to cover some details in that, but I'm real curious...
