If it hasn't hit some states in the Midwest yet, surely it won't get to AZ... :slight_frown:

For those of you who haven't been able to find or get 2014 BN, know that the 2014 is not actually all that good. I've had BN several times, from the cask and in 2012 bottle form. The 2012 bottle, when fresh, was rich and creamy and bourbony. The 2012 has aged wonderfully. The 2014, fresh, is harsh with none of the creaminess of even a fresh 2012. The bourbon notes are faint, too. I'm aging a few of the 2014s to see if it improves, but I don't think it'll match up to the 2012.

I 100% agree. I'm sitting on the rest of my 2014's in hopes they reach the glorious-ness that was the 2012 BN.

I guess I was lucky, I was able to get 36 bottles without even leaving the comfort of my home... :-)

I love people like this who brag about hoarding highly sought after beers in front of people who may not even get a chance to obtain it. Its just so lame and tacky.

    Good for you buddy!

DMaCATO -- It was meant to stir up some trades (which it did), that is all.

That's not lost on me... I get it. The difference is, I would 'stir up some trades' with a bit of class. That is all.

If I'm not mistaken, that's what the ISO:FT forum is for...

That's what a buddy said - I dunno, I thought it was just as good as 2013.

Clearly, mummies have unsophisticated palates compared to a drunkard trailer park supervisor like myself . At a tasting in Columbus a few days ago I had a few other jaded BN vets who agreed on my stance. No doubt its still excellent...just nit picky beer nerd stuff. I'm still holding out though. Cheers!

agreed 100%. When forums start to become about who's got the biggest beer dick around, it's time to leave. Can't stand it and not very "advocate-like"

According to Bells, all their bottles have shipped (they just FB'd me back). So any hold up is on the distributor side. Funny that it can be 2 weeks between Kalamazoo and Detroit.

Is the reliable source Larry Bell, who posted last week on the other thread that 180 cases have shipped to Chicago?
